FROM THE CONSISTORY OR COUNCIL
We welcome all visitors worshiping with us today. May God’s name be exalted as we worship together. The order of our worship service is printed on the back of the bulletin.
At their request the membership papers of Ashley Brummel have been sent to Crete PRC and of Brandon Kroese to Calvary PRC. We commend them to the care of our sister congregations.
The sermon this evening will be a preparatory sermon with a view to partaking of the Lord’s Supper next Sunday morning. Supervision is exercised over the sacrament, so that only those who are members of our congregation in good standing, or those who have received special permission from the Consistory will be allowed to partake of the sacrament. May we be worthy partakers of the supper of our Lord.

CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION
Nathan Westra is asked to write to Gary Brummel and Johanna Westra to Derick Grimm.
Catherine Kooiker was admitted to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls on Tuesday. She was experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath and was also battling an infection. She returned home on Friday, yet continues to experience chest pain that the doctors think is due to pleurisy. This has been a difficult couple of months for Catherine. Let us continue to remember her, Kerwen, and their family in this trial. And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. (Isaiah 58:11)

Attention Supporters of Christian Education: Many of you may have recently received the Capital Drive Flyer Building for Generations 2.0. Adams Christian School is committed to providing additional classrooms in the near future due to expanding class sizes. In 2015 we launched a similar Capital Campaign drive. By God’s providential care and your giving, we were able to reach our goal without incurring debt to our school. For that we can be thankful. Adams Christian School is now in need of your financial support for this project. Please prayerfully consider this cause. If you did not receive the flyer, please contact Matt Velthouse (matthew.velthouse@gmail.com), Gary Bylsma (gmb24gk@att.net), Tim Pipe Jr (tpipe23@gmail.com), or Tim Block (tim@mingerink.com) for further information. A sample of the flyer will be included in today’s handouts.
