CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION
Marlin Westra is asked to write to Gary Brummel and David Camarigg to Derick Grimm.
Catherine Kooiker returned home from the hospital on Friday.
Bonnie Hoksbergen is in the Rock Volley hospital. She has come down with pneumonia and sepsis. She has improved after receiving antibiotics. May the Lord uphold her, Don, and their family, and draw them ever nigh unto Him. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. (Psalm 34:7)
Brady and Dayna Kooiker were blessed Saturday with the birth of a baby girl, Brenna Nicole. Dayna and Brenna are both doing well. We rejoice with them and thank God for this wonderful gift of a covenant child.
Let us continue to remember our widows, widowers, elderly, and all those who frequently, if not always, are unable to gather with us for worship on the Lord’s Day (Jack Andringa, Zach Andringa, Gary Brummel, Derick Grimm, Margaret Hoekstra, Bonnie Hoksbergen, Wilmyna Jansma, Catherine Kooiker, and Minard & Cora Van Den Top). Let us continue to remember them in our prayers as well as with cards and visits.
The congregation is invited to attend the wedding ceremony uniting Rochelle Kooiker and Greg Gritters this Friday, June 9, at 6:00 p.m.
On behalf of Abby, Karmin, and Louise, we would like to thank everyone who came to the church shower. The gifts of love and kindness were greatly appreciated. We covet your prayers as we begin our lives as Christian husbands and wives. “In every thing give thanks: for this is
the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” I Thessalonians 5:18
