The baptism of Emma Grace, infant daughter of Jordan and Shantelle De Boer, is scheduled to take place this morning. We thank God for the gift of covenant children. May our Lord grant these parents the grace needed to raise this little one in the fear of His name.
A pulpit exchange has been arranged for the second service today. Rev. Kuiper is scheduled to preach here, and our pastor is scheduled to preach at Heritage PRC. We welcome Rev. Kuiper to our pulpit and fellowship this evening.

CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION

We congratulate Dalton Heynen who graduated this past Wednesday from LifeScape Specialty School in Sioux Falls. We rejoice with him and his family. May the Lord continue to bless him, strengthening him for the work He has for him in His kingdom.
We rejoice with Blake and Emily De Roon (nee Uittenbogaard) who were united in marriage on Friday. May the Lord richly bless their marriage that it may reflect that of Christ and His church.
Monica Wiersma had out-patient surgery on her right knee in Rock Valley on Thursday. The procedure went well, and she returned home the same day. She is expected to be on crutches for about four weeks. Let us remember her and her family in our prayers.
Catherine Kooiker was having difficulty breathing and was admitted to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls on Friday night. She is expected to be there for a few days. May the Lord continue to uphold Catherine, Kerwen, and their family in this affliction.
The congregation is invited to attend the wedding ceremony uniting Kayla Kooima and Tunis Van Baren this Friday, June 2, at 6:00 p.m.

CHURCH NEWS
Southwest PRC called Rev. Decker.
Immanuel PRC (Lacombe) has formed a trio of Revs. Brummel, Griess, and Vander Wal.
Doon PRC called Rev. Bleyenberg to be a missionary to the Phillipines. Doon’s Council and the FMC approved his request that he and his wife make a trip to visit the field. They plan to be gone June 8-22. He plans to answer the call by June 25.
From the Byron Center PRC Council: Professor David Engelsma has completed his answers to the many questions which were submitted before and after his May 9 speech to office bearers regarding “Spousal (Wife) Abuse.” To view these questions and answers, please visit our website at byronprc.org. Additionally, due to much greater than expected response and subsequent requests, the Byron Center PRC Council plans a follow-up speech addressing this same topic to a broader audience, not office bearers only. We plan to schedule this speech for mid-to-late September. Professor Engelsma has agreed to prepare and deliver this speech as well. The date and venue will be posted soon.

REQUESTED ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday School: Papers will be handed out this morning. We will begin with Lesson 47 (N.T.) and Psalter 251:1-3. Students are reminded to wait until everyone has exited the sanctuary before going back in. Teachers this year are Shayna Andringa (Pre-school), Haley Van Ginkel (K), Alissa Van Maanen (1st), Christiana Westra (2nd), Kristen De Jong (3rd), Emily Camarigg (4th), Keri Oostra (5th), Kolette Villalobos (6th), Brittany Gritters (7th), Dave Van Egdom (8th), Veryl Heynen (9th). Grades are listed by the grade your child will enter this fall. Sunday School teachers will meet Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Our first lesson will be held next Sunday.
The Hull Young People’s Society will be sponsoring their annual Memorial Day Breakfast at the Hull Protestant Reformed School gym on May 29 from 7:00–9:30 a.m. Please join us for a morning filled with delicious homemade food and great fellowship.
The school board of Trinity Christian High School will meet on Wednesday, May 31, at 7:00 p.m. instead of its regular May 24 meeting.
The Young People’s Society will be having a pop can drive in the church parking lot during the pancake breakfast on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29. Members of the congregation will be contacted by a member of the Young People’s Society to see if they would like their cans picked up, or if it works to bring them on Memorial Day.
