The Council presents the following nominees for the special offices. For elder: Alden De Jong, Loren Gritters, Veryl Heynen, Brent Meyer, Joel Van Ginkel and Jason Westra. For deacon: Kimmy Kooiker, Dan Poppema, Marlin Westra, and Peter S. Westra. Anyone who believes they have a lawful objection against the nomination of any of these men should contact the clerk of the Council. The congregation meeting has been scheduled for this Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Agendas are available on the back table.
REMINDER: Our second service is held at 2:00 in the afternoon during the months of December, January, and February. This will begin today.

CHURCH CALENDAR
Today: The Young People’s Society will meet at 3:45 today. Bible discussion will be on Hebrews 11:27-29; Ex. 10:27–11:1; 12:1-13; 14:15-31.
The Sr. Young Adults’ Bible study and fellowship will meet at 7:00 p.m. at the parsonage. We will discuss Joshua 1.
Monday: The deacons will meet at 7:00 followed by the Council at 8:00.
Tuesday: Morning classes in Bible History (Grades 1–7): Lesson 13.
Wednesday: Wealth will meet at 9:45 in Hull PRC to study Lesson 13. Jessica Westra, Janae Van Maanen, and Jill Maassen have lunch. Crysta Brummel is the upstairs helper, and Kolette Villalobos is the nursery helper.

Johanna Westra returned home from the hospital on Tuesday.
Dori Hoksbergen had her left hip replaced at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City on Tuesday. The surgery went well, and she returned home yesterday.
Catherine Kooiker was taken to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls on Thursday night because she was having difficulty breathing. She remains there at the present time.
Let us remember these saints and their families in our prayers. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (Psalm 25:5)

On November 20 Joyce Kooiker celebrated her 85th birthday. We give thanks to God for His covenant faithfulness and for the many years he has blessed her with. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Edgerton Young People’s Society invites you to their annual Christmas singspiration on December 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Trinity Christian High will present its Fall/Winter Program on Monday, December 12, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The band and both choirs will present a program of various Psalter numbers, Christmas selections, and songs of praise to our Savior. There will be a collection taken for the music department. Join with the students as they sing and play praises to Jesus Christ, Messiah.
Save the date: The Trinity Christian High School annual promotional supper will be held the evening of Monday, January 23, 2017.
