CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION
Stephanie Van Maanen is asked to write to Gary Brummel and Jack Andringa to Derick
Grimm.
Marlin Westra’s surgery went well on Monday, and he returned home the next day.
Alvin Kooiker has begun to receive radiation treatments for prostate cancer at Mayo Clinic
in Rochester. He started this past week, and it will continue for four weeks. The treatments
will take place during the week, and he plans to be either here or in Randolph on the
weekends.
May the Lord grant these saints and their spouses and families the strength they need each day
as they go through these trials. “And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest
me before thy face for ever.” (Psalm 41:12)
We express our sympathy to Minard and Cora Van Den Top in the death of Cora’s brother,
Marinus Maassen, who died on Thursday. May the Spirit of Christ comfort their hearts and
draw them ever nigh unto Him.
We rejoice with Marcus and Paige Andringa who were blessed on Tuesday with the birth of
a baby boy, Cameron James. Paige and Cameron are both doing well. We give thanks to our
God for the wonderful gift of a covenant child.

Our Young People’s Society invites everyone to their Resurrection Day Singspiration to be
held here on March 20 at 8:00 p.m.
Please reserve Monday, March 14, for the Young People’s Soup Supper. Each family with
a Young People’s member is also asked to bring two baked good items to sell at the supper.
The supper will be held at the Hull Community Building.
The Spring Ladies’ League meeting will be held at Edgerton PRC on Thursday, April 28.

Young People: Registration for the 2016 Young People’s Convention hosted by
Grace/Wingham PRC is now open. The convention is planned for August 8-12 at Lake

small town in Malaysia (about 2½ hour drive from Singapore). Prof Dykstra will be speaking
