FROM THE CONSISTORY OR COUNCIL
We welcome all visitors worshiping with us today. May God’s name be exalted as we
worship together. The order of our worship service is printed on the back of this bulletin.
The Council presents the following nominees for the special offices. Nominated for the
office of elder are Jeff Baker, Dennis Burgers, Veryl Heynen, John Huizenga, Brian Van
Engen and Marlin Westra. Nominated for the office of deacon are Dan Blankespoor, Paul De
Roon, Carl Maassen, and Tim Postma. Anyone who believes they have a lawful objection
against the nomination of any of these men should contact the clerk of the Council.
The Congregational meeting has been set for tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.
CALL TO WORSHIP: This Thursday at 9:30 a.m. we will have our annual Thanksgiving
Day service. Offering will be for Hull PR School. Nursery attendants will be Mrs. D.
Rozeboom, Mandi A., and Emily Groeneweg.

CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION
Amy Laning is asked to write to Gary Brummel and Travis Groeneweg to Derick Grimm.
Cheryl Kooiker is scheduled to have surgery on Tuesday to replace her left knee. The
surgery will be at Orange City Hospital, and if all goes well, she will probably return home on
Friday. Let us remember her, Kimmy and their family in our prayers. But my God shall supply
all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippines 4:19)

The Young People’s Society will be making and selling Christmas goodie trays. There
will be two sizes of trays available for purchase. Orders are due by December 1st, and the
trays will be ready for you to pick up at church on Saturday, December 12, during Christmas

Our Young People’s Society is once again selling calendars with KJV Scripture verses on
nature scenes. Each calendar is $10. If you are interested in buying one, please contact

The 2015 edition of the ring-bound Church Order book of our Protestant Reformed
Churches may be ordered through the clerk of our Consistory. Those books, updated every
five years to incorporate recent synodical decisions affecting them, are of practical use to
officebearers of course, but all of our families would do well to cultivate an interest in
Reformed (Protestant Reformed) church polity. If you already have the six-ring binder, you
need order only the replacement pages ($4.00). A binder with contents costs $10.00. Please
use the sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex. Payment can be made to the PRCA after you
receive the book. The original signup sheet is missing, so anyone that signed up will have
to sign again. Today is the last day to sign up.
Calvary’s Young People’s will be hosting a Thanksgiving singspiration tonight after their
evening worship service. All are invited and welcome.
The Junior High band and choirs of NWIA PR and Hull PR will have a combined concert
on November 30 at 7:00 p.m. Please join us for a time of praise and fellowship.
Sunday School Christmas Program: Practice will be held December 5 and 12. All Pre-K
through 8

grade will have combined practice from 9:30-11:30 a.m. All Sunday School
teachers should plan to attend these practices.

Hull PR Church. Rev. Brummel will speak on the theme Thankful for God’s Comfort.
Come Unto Me CDs are available for purchase. This is a children’s CD produced by Eric
Gritters and various CCHS Choir alumni. It includes 12 songs for your children to enjoy and
sing. CDs are $10. Please sign up on the sheet on the back table and give payment for your
CD to Sue U. CDs should be available by Christmas. Final date to sign up is November 29.
The Hope Heralds 2015 CD entitled Then Sings My Soul is available for $10 in the main
offices at Covenant Chr. High School (MI) and at Heritage Christian School (MI). The CD is
also available at the Reformed Book Outlet in Hudsonville, MI, for $10. If you are not able to
pick up your copy, please call or text Karen Daling (616-662-0784) or Dan VanDyke (616-610-3276), and we will mail the CD for $10 plus postage.
Special Education Fall Deficit Drive Update: The Board thanks all those who responded to
our request for help in meeting our Fall Drive goal the past few weeks. As of 11/15/15, we
have collected $86,053 towards our goal of $184,000. Your help is greatly needed in helping
