FROM THE CONSISTORY OR COUNCIL
We welcome all visitors worshiping with us today. May God’s name be exalted as we worship together. The order of our worship service is printed on the back of this bulletin.
The Council at their meeting this week plans to begin the process of nominating elders and deacons. According to Article 22 of the Church Order, the Council is called “to give the members an opportunity to direct attention to suitable persons.” Anyone desiring to recommend someone for one of the special offices may make this known to any member of the Council.
Today Seminarian David Noorman will lead us in worship for both services while our pastor is at Randolph PRC. We welcome him to our pulpit and fellowship today.
Next Sunday our pastor is scheduled to exchange pulpits with Rev. Brummel during the morning service.

CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION
Lois Van Maanen is asked to write to Gary Brummel and Karina Heynen to Derick Grimm.
This past Thursday our Father in heaven took our beloved sister, Reka Andringa, to be with Him in heavenly glory. We express our sympathy to the Andringa families and pray God would comfort their souls with His Word. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4) The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 4, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull with the family present from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Jeanine Huizenga is scheduled to have laparoscopic hernia repair surgery tomorrow at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Lord willing, if all goes well, she will return home the next day.
Jack Andringa is scheduled to have surgery this Wednesday to replace his left shoulder. The surgery will take place at Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls, and he is expected to be in the hospital for a couple of days.
Braxton Kooiker is scheduled to have outpatient surgery at Sanford Hospital on Friday to remove a bone growth from his hip.
Let us remember these saints and their families in our prayers. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; (Psalm 33:18)
We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the congregation for the thoughts and prayers, cards, meals, and visits rendered due to my recent surgery. We thank God for healing mercies and confess even in trials, “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1 Veryl and Kandace Heynen and family.
