We welcome all visitors worshiping with us today. May God’s name be exalted as we worship together. The order of our worship service is printed on the back of this bulletin.

CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION

Heidi Oostra is asked to write to Gary Brummel and Bart Zandstra to Derick Grimm.

We rejoice with Alex and Haley Van Ginkel (nee Uittenbogaard) who were united in marriage this past Wednesday. May the Lord richly bless their marriage that it may reflect the beautiful union between Christ and His church.

Margaret Hoekstra has moved and is now living at Pleasant Acres.

Kandace Heynen is scheduled to have a hysterectomy this Friday morning at the Sanford Surgical Tower in Sioux Falls. If all goes well, she is expected to return home on Sunday.

Let us remember these saints and their families in our prayers. Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. (Psalm 119:116)

RFPA Book Club MembersFaith Made Perfect, the latest RFPA book, is on the tables in the Fellowship Hall. Please pick up your copy today. This book by Professor Herman Hanko is a commentary on the book of James. The believers James is writing to faced many problems as they made the transition from the Old Testament to the New Testament. James addresses these issues the early Christians faced, including trials and temptations, true religion, wisdom, the use of the tongue, the judgment of the rich, patience, and spiritual help in trouble. This eminently practical book gives instruction for living the Christian life in many
of its aspects. A salient feature is the relation between justification and works which James explains by the examples of Abraham and Rahab. If you would like to order this book or join the Book Club, contract Betty Kooiker, Book Club Agent by telephone at 712-324-2973 or by  e-mail at gbkooiker@nethtc.net.
