The baptism of Miles Eliot, infant son of David and Amanda Rozeboom, is scheduled to take place this morning. We thank God for the gift of covenant children and pray that He will grant the parents the grace needed to raise this little one in the fear of His name.
Our pastor is scheduled to preach at Doon PRC at a 2:00 service this afternoon.
Synod is scheduled to convene this Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. at Faith PRC. One item on the agenda will be the examination of Sem. Ryan Barnhill. Our pastor is a delegate to synod and plans to leave tomorrow morning. May our Father in heaven bless this synod as well as Sem. Barnhill and may the decisions made be to God’s glory and for the edification of His people.
If synod concludes on Friday, Rev. Brummel is scheduled to preach here next Sunday for both services while our pastor preaches at Heritage PRC.

Synod Notice: The pre-synodical service will be held on Monday evening, June 8, at 7:00 P.M. in Faith PR Church in Jenison, MI. Collection will be for the Academy for Reformed Theology in Germany. Rev. K. Koole, president of Synod 2015, will preach the sermon. This service will be streamed live at http://faithprc.org/watchlive.cfm. Synod convenes Tuesday morning at 8:30 at Faith. Mr. Ryan Barnhill will be examined at this year’s synod. His specimen sermon will be delivered Tuesday morning beginning at 10:30. Pending synod’s approval, this sermon, as well as the rest of Mr. Barnhill’s examination and his graduation will also be streamed live at the same link. The schedule for the rest of the examination must yet be determined by synod. Those who plan to view the examination online can look for the schedule to be announced at the time of the specimen sermon. Graduation is planned for Thursday evening, June 11, at 7:30 in Faith Church. Prof. R. Cammenga will deliver the commencement address, “The Minister and His Marriage.”

The Hull Protestant Reformed Christian School’s Annual Society Meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, at school. The board presents the following men as nominees: Toby Boogerd, Dave King, Mark Kooima, Zach Van Ginkel, Brian Van Maanen, and Terry Van Maanen. Elections will be held at the annual society meeting to replace two retiring board members and add an 8th board member. All positions are “at large”. Southwest PRC’s Evangelism Committee is planning a lecture by Prof. Ronald Cammenga titled “Theistic Evolution: Should the Church Make Peace or War?” to be held at Grace Community Church in Hudsonville, MI, on Friday, October 9.
