CONCERNING THE CONGREGATION
Colton Hoksbergen is asked to write to Gary Brummel and Brad Gritters to Derick Grimm.
Hillie Hoekstra had a biopsy indicating she has a cancerous tumor on her pancreas. The tumor is said to be self-contained. It is possible that chemo treatments will begin sometime this week with radiation treatments to follow to shrink the tumor. After that there will likely be surgery. They plan to meet with the doctors this week to discuss this. Let us remember Hillie, Henry and their family as they go through this trial.
Nelson Oostra is scheduled to have surgery to remove his gall bladder this Thursday at Sioux Center Hospital. If all goes well, he will return home the same day.
Let us remember these saints, their spouses, and their families in these afflictions. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. (Psalm 61:4)
We again express out gratitude for all the support received whether it be love, concern, meals, or rides! The radiation treatments are going well so far. Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. Psalm 39:4 Evert and Jennie Van Maanen
