Classis West is scheduled to meet at Edgerton PRC this Wednesday. The delegates from our congregation are Elder Brian Kroese and our pastor. There will be an Officebearers’ Conference the day prior to Classis on Tuesday. The topic is “The Local Church and Missions.” Edgerton will also be holding a worship service on Tuesday night. As part of his examination before Classis, Pastor-Elect Ryan Barnhill will lead the service. May our Father in heaven bless the delegates of Classis and sustain Mr. Barnhill during his examination.
Tuesday morning catechism classes will not be held this Tuesday due to the Officebearers’ Conference. Wednesday evening classes will meet with one of the elders conducting the classes.
Next Sunday our pastor is scheduled to preach at Loveland PRC while Rev. Key preaches here. Our pastor plans to depart on Thursday. He is scheduled to give an Evangelism Committee lecture on “The Signs of the Coming of Christ and His Kingdom” in Loveland on Friday and to conduct church visitation there the following Monday evening. Lord willing, he plans to return next week Tuesday.
The church visitors are scheduled to meet with our Council tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. Anyone desiring to discuss a matter with the church visitors should contact the clerk.
